Geruisloos (Noiseless)
Geruisloos (“Noiseless”) is a short documentary about the impact of human noise, told through the eyes of wildlife. A squirrel loses her warning system, a robin sings in the dark, and sudden human activity throws a bank vole off balance. Their instincts are disrupted, and survival strategies are pushed to the limit. Geruisloos reveals this unseen battle.
The film was selected for the Wildlife Film Festival Rotterdam (WFFR), one of Europe’s leading festivals for wildlife and environment film, and nominated for WFFR Best Short Film 2025. At the 2025 International Sound and Film Music Festival, the music was nominated for Best Original Score (Short). It was furthermore selected for the S.O.F.A.
